1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs the use of Wyrmlabs' services, including the Fathom model, API, web interface, and any associated platforms (collectively, the "Services"). This AUP is designed to ensure the safe, ethical, and lawful use of our AI systems. By accessing or using the Services, you agree to comply with this AUP.

2. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Services for any of the following:

• Illegal Activities: Any use that violates applicable laws or regulations, including but not limited to the laws of the People's Republic of China, the European Union, and the United States.
• Harmful Content Generation: Creating or distributing content that incites violence, promotes terrorism, or encourages self-harm.
• Child Exploitation: Any use involving or promoting child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or the exploitation of minors.
• Harassment and Abuse: Generating content that harasses, bullies, threatens, or intimidates individuals or groups.
• Hate Speech: Generating content that promotes discrimination, racism, xenophobia, or hatred based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any protected characteristic.
• Fraud and Deception: Using the Services to create deceptive content, phishing attempts, impersonation, financial scams, or disinformation campaigns.
• Weapons Development: Using the Services to design or develop weapons, including chemical, biological, radiological, or nuclear (CBRN) weapons.
• Surveillance and Profiling: Using the Services for unauthorized surveillance, facial recognition, or mass profiling of individuals.

3. Prohibited Technical Uses

• Reverse Engineering: Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract trade secrets from the Fathom model or any Wyrmlabs software beyond the rights granted under the Apache 2.0 license.
• Automated Abuse: Using automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Services in a manner that exceeds reasonable usage limits or circumvents rate limiting.
• Security Testing: Penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, or other security assessments without prior written authorization from Wyrmlabs.
• Model Extraction: Attempting to extract, distill, or replicate the Fathom model's capabilities through repeated querying or other techniques.

4. AI-Specific Responsibilities

When using the Fathom model, you agree to:

• Clearly label AI-generated content as such where required by applicable law or where failure to disclose could mislead others;
• Not represent AI-generated outputs as human-generated in contexts where this distinction matters (e.g., academic work, journalism, legal documents);
• Implement appropriate human oversight for any use of the Services in high-stakes domains, including healthcare, legal advice, financial decisions, and critical infrastructure;
• Not rely on the Services as the sole basis for decisions that could result in legal, financial, or physical harm;
• Evaluate and mitigate biases in your use case that could lead to unfair or discriminatory outcomes.

5. Content Moderation

Wyrmlabs employs automated and manual content moderation systems to detect and prevent prohibited uses. We reserve the right to review, filter, or block content that violates this AUP. We may suspend or terminate access to the Services for users who violate this policy, and we may report serious violations to relevant authorities.

6. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it immediately to contact@wyrmlabs.be. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly. We may take any action we deem appropriate, including content removal, account suspension, and cooperation with law enforcement.

7. Enforcement

Violation of this AUP may result in immediate suspension or termination of your access to the Services, without prejudice to any other rights Wyrmlabs may have. We reserve the right to update this AUP at any time. Continued use of the Services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
